“It’s insane how much flavor is packed into this. You could make this with chicken or any other meat you want. The great part about using frozen shrimp, however, is that it comes together in under 10 minutes.”

FAQ

Do I have to use frozen shrimp?

You can make this with frozen or fresh peeled shrimp. Because shrimp cook so quickly, they can actually be seared straight from frozen.

Do I need to get a can of chipotles in adobo for this?

The canned chipotle peppers bring the signature and mild of this dish. That said, you could substitute it with chili powder or even chili crisp/salsa macha. You’re looking for a bit of spice and smokey flavors.
